* The Captain *

Hello, my name is Capt. Pete Dahlberg. I'm a U.S. Coast Guard Certified Captain and Licensed Guide in MD. I currently live in St. Leonard, MD, approximately 12 miles from Solomons Island.

I grew up in Camden, NY, a small town in upstate NY. My life centered around my next fishing trip with my dad and grandmother. I fished mostly for Walleye Pike in Oneida Lake and Brown Trout in the local rivers and streams. At the age of 12 I was skippering the family boat to the hot Walleye areas. I'm 40 years old and can't remember exactly when I first wet a line. I think I was in diapers.

Me fishing in Mad River, near my home in New York, at the age of nine.

I've been guiding now for several years on Chesapeake Bay.  It was a life long dream of mine to be a fishing guide. April of 2000 the dream became reality and I obtained my licensing and Four Seasons Guide Service.

The United States Air Force brought me to the Chesapeake. I retired from the Air Force after 22 1/2 years service.

As a guide, I don't bring 20 years of guiding experience to the boat. What I bring is a wealth of enthusiasm, ambition, and a sincere concern to provide the best fishing experience possible every single trip, and true love for the sport of fishing.
